A bio-technology protester struggles to escape from the grip of Philadelphia police June 21 while protesting against the BIO 2005 conference being held at the Pennsylvania convention center. A dozen protesters were arrested and one was hospitalized for injuries sustained during his apprehension. The conference was uninterrupted.
