David Desloge has his hair cut by his sister, Zoe Desloge, on his front porch during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown during April in Bowling Green, Ky. The lockdown shut all businesses not deemed essential, like barber shops and salons. With no experience cutting hair, Zoe was nervous her brother would become annoyed, or she would make a mistake. “Getting my haircut like that definitely wasn’t the best haircut I’ve had. The only clippers we had were my beard trimmer. I really wasn’t too worried about it though, because it’s not like I was really going out or anything,” David said.
