Alfredo Zurita Vega, 15, dies of cancer after a tumor spread throughout his body. His family’s is one of the many in La Oroya who cannot afford adequate medical treatment for their children. His cousin, Soledad Vega Blas was really affected by his death because she has similar levels of lead intoxication. She fears she will be next.
