As the sun goes down in Ejido Hermosillo, Xochic Galban, 4, hugs her mother, Grariela Ramirez, 40, and her brother, Filibert Galban, 3, to help him warm up from the cold of the water, while Castillo Castillo, 6, splashes at a friend. Everyday dozens of people drive out to a local water irrigation ditch to swim during the heat of the day, and despite there was an outbreak of ecoli last year, people continue to go there for relief from the extreme temperatures.
