With an 18 point lead going into 4th quarter and 7 minutes left until a secured spot in the state championship game, The Rock Bridge Bruins lost to Chaminade by 1 point in the last 1.4 seconds, finishing the game at 65-66. The Bruins were favored to win the state championships going into the game, and at one point obtained a 31 point lead. Afterwards, the team radio announcer reffered to them as “The biggest choke artists in the state of Missouri.”
