Arianna whimpers in her mother’s arms after waking up from an anesthesic. Arianna was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis after she had her first seizure at 3 months old. At 3 years old, Arianna now experiences 10 to 15 seizures a day. She has undergone five brain surgeries. Arianna’s parents feel that their doctors haven’t been aggressive enough with Arianna’s treatments, and have considered changing hospitals or even moving to Colorado for medicinal marijuana.
