On May 12, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approved expanded eligibility of the Pfizer vaccine to youth aged 12 through 15. As of June 9, 2021, 37.94% of DeKalb county’s 759,297 residents has been fully vaccinated according to the DeKalb County Health Department website.
